Politburo

The Politburo is the platform’s highest and most exclusive collector membership tier.

This group represents the core trusted collector network within the community and is designed for highly active, verified, and reliable members who participate heavily in trading, group buys, hobby product acquisition, and community growth.

Purpose of the Politburo

The Politburo functions as the platform’s elite collector collective. Members work together to:

  • Coordinate hobby product group buys
  • Target major product releases and drops
  • Secure hobby cases and limited allocations
  • Participate in community-backed purchasing opportunities
  • Build trusted relationships within the collector ecosystem

One of the primary advantages of Politburo membership is participation in the platform’s group-buy and redistribution system.

Group Buy / Commissary Program

Politburo members will have access to organized hobby product acquisitions coordinated through the Commissary system.

The collective purchasing structure is designed to:

  • Improve access to difficult-to-obtain hobby products
  • Increase purchasing power through coordinated buying
  • Allow members to obtain products to open for their personal collections

A core operational strategy of the program involves a controlled 15% markup resale structure on designated products sold through the Commissary. This markup system helps subsidize and offset the cost of hobby products for participating Politburo members.

The intention of the system is to create a sustainable collector cooperative where active and trusted members benefit from coordinated buying opportunities.

Membership Availability

Politburo membership will initially be limited to a fixed number of slots.

This limitation exists to:

  • Maintain quality control
  • Properly manage authentication and verification
  • Preserve trust within the network
  • Ensure manageable onboarding and moderation

Once all available positions are filled, entry into the Politburo will become restricted.

Ways to Join the Politburo

After membership slots are filled, new members may only join through one of the following methods:

1. Invitation by Existing Politburo Members

Existing Politburo members with sufficient Party Loyalty Points may sponsor and vouch for a new member.

2. Earned Invitation Through Commissary Participation

Collectors who sell a qualifying amount of hobby product to the Commissary at the approved 115% retail pricing structure may earn eligibility for invitation consideration.

All Politburo applications and invitations are subject to review and approval.

Sponsorship and Linked Accountability

When a Politburo member sponsors a new recruit:

  • The accounts become temporarily linked within the trust system.
  • The sponsoring member acts as a guarantor for the new member’s conduct.
  • The invited member must earn sufficient Party Loyalty Points to establish independent trust status.

Once the recruit demonstrates consistent positive participation, successful trades, and good standing within the community, the linked accountability restriction may be removed.

Conduct and Enforcement

Politburo membership requires adherence to strict community standards.

Examples of violations include:

  • Scamming members
  • Fraudulent transactions
  • Repeated failure to honor agreements
  • Abuse of marketplace systems
  • Manipulation of group buys
  • Harassment or malicious behavior

If a sponsored member violates community standards:

  • Their Politburo access may be suspended or revoked.
  • The sponsoring member’s standing may also be reviewed.
  • Severe violations may negatively impact the sponsor’s Party Loyalty status and Politburo privileges.

This system is intended to encourage careful sponsorship, accountability, and long-term trust within the collector collective.
